Kudzai Mataba is a Master of Laws Candidate at the University of Pretoria, in International Trade and Investment Law in Africa. Her thesis focuses on the investment dispute resolution mechanism of the Investment Protocol in the incoming Continental Free Trade Area. She holds a double major Bachelor of Arts Degree in Law and International Relations, which was conferred with distinction, as well as post-graduate LLB also from the University of Pretoria.
Before joining TIPS, Kudzai worked as a political attaché at the Embassy of the Holy See for two years, where her duties included the socioeconomic monitoring of the office’s five desk countries. Kudzai’s main areas of research include regional integration, trade liberalisation, sustainable development as well as the commercialisation of the renewable energy sector.
