Rochelle Jacobs is a gender economist and behavioural scientist with a Master's degree in Economics from Stellenbosch University. Before joining TIPS, she consulted in behavioural science and gender economics for prominent organisations such as the Department of Small Business Development, FinMark Trust, and the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA).
Rochelle’s expertise lies in financial inclusion and small business development. Her notable projects include a longitudinal study on SMMEs and co-operatives in South Africa and a nationally representative consumer sentiment study for the FSCA.
