The Centre for Science, Technology and Innovation Indicators (CeSTII) conducts national research and development (R&D) and innovation surveys on behalf of South Africa’s Department of Science and Innovation, producing national indicators and analyses as a basis for international comparisons and to inform policymaking. CeSTII is a specialised research unit of the Human Sciences Research Council.
